Saigon in a day. A crazy fast paced city to say the least. All and all a culture shock that still sits with us days later. We felt like outsiders and were stared at quite often. Not many tourists in this city and I instantly stood out with my height. I could not stop thinking about the Vietnam war as we walked through many of the districts. Given that my only knowledge and mental images are solely derived from Hollywood films, it still was quite an emotional place to be. Especially the buildings across the Saigon river in some of the photos. Eery was the feeling I got looking at those.

This blog site doesn’t upload many photos at once so here is a link to where we will post them all at once.
